Install Dovion as an App (PWA) on Mobile and PC

Dovion plays in the browser, nothing to download — that's actually one of its biggest strengths. But if you play often, there's a perfect middle ground: installing Dovion as an app using PWA technology. A home screen icon, a full-screen launch, zero trip through an app store. Here's how to do it, device by device.

PWA: an app without an app store

PWA stands for Progressive Web App: a website that can behave like an application. In practice, you "pin" Dovion to your device via the "Add to Home Screen" option in your browser, and you get:

• A dedicated icon, just like any other app.
• A direct full-screen launch, with no address bar or tabs around the game.
• Always the latest version: since the game lives on the web, you get updates automatically, with nothing to reinstall.

On iPhone and iPad

With Safari:

4. Confirm the name, tap Add — it's installed.
